The Gold Standard

It all started in the 1930s when our government decided to take us off of gold and recalled all the gold coins in America and if anyone was caught possessing or using gold coins than it could result in jail time. Then in the 1970s Richard Nixon finished the job of taking America off of gold for good. However as we see today as we watch television, we have started to see hundreds of thousands of commercials regarding selling your gold chains, bracelets, and other gold items for cash. In fact many quote on quote gold parties are taking place all across America where people are selling off all their gold for cash for much less than what their gold is actually worth on the market or in future markets.

Gold is a rarity in America and the world. I don’t hear about many gold mines like back in the day during the San Francisco Gold Rush and American West Gold Rush. During the 80s Gold was what everyone wanted as real 100% gold hambone chains were being purchases by literally every rapper and every big shot drug dealer in America. Now in 2008, we see so many “Sell Your Gold” commercials come on as if gold is worthless now days. It makes me question whether or not these commercials have something to do with the current economic woes we are having today and whether these commercials are linked to the 1930s and 1970 mandate that our government placed on us by taking us off the “Gold” standard in America and literally making the dollar or paper our standard of wealth.

Are we to believe that gold is really as worthless as it is portrayed to be in America right? 100% pure gold or any type of gold for that matter is worthless now and cash which is made of paper is worth more than gold in America right now. This is the notion that is being put forth by our American government and if we are not careful, our American government along with big business will own every form of real 100% gold in this country if we continue to sell our gold off at these gold parties. Now if we really think hardly, these “Sell Your Gold” commercials started appearing when our economy really started getting bad like around last October or November and these gold parties started springing up everyone in America really this February or March. A lot of times the problems that we face as country and a people are right under our nose but we fail to recognize the small things. So if we had started paying attention to the “Sell Your Gold” commercials last October or November than maybe we would have started to see that something is wrong with this picture of us selling our gold for cash when cash is not worth more than gold by any far stretch of the imagination.

The fact tough economic times have emerged and many of us across America have got into tough financial situations where we have to either tighten our belts or find other ways of economic means, we have been preyed on by the rich and powerful in this country and perhaps our own government might have something to do it. Let’s be real, why would any company or anyone want to give you cash for your gold if gold was worthless. They are preying on our tough financial situations and the fact that we have to use green paper known as the American dollar or the American currency to pay our bills so they are preying on the fact that we are in so much of dire need that we see our gold as less important than before because we have to feed ourselves, put gas in cars to get to work in order to keep our jobs to begin with not to mention we have mounting medical bills, a high gas, electric and water bill that has increased due to the fact that we have been out of work and so on.
Nonetheless we are where we are and these people who are paying us for our gold are preying on our tough financial situations and they are winning big in the long run because they are getting a rarity in the country and something that could be worth billions in years to come. It is clear that the “Gold Standard” in America might have contributed to us as a nation’s economic woes because when we went off of gold, more financial troubles occurred and even now, it seems as if gold is back and many companies know the importance of having gold so they are trying to literally rob the market of all the gold in order to possess perhaps one of the rarest elements known to man which is gold. Whoever possesses gold literally takes a huge chuck of power when it comes to America and the world economy. Gold is truly an element that can only be summed up as being as priceless as diamond but more priceless because there are literally no more gold mines out there and it is not a lot of gold on the market unlike diamonds that are on the market and tons are kept in vaults all across Europe in order to keep the price of diamonds so high but that is another story for another day. I would just suggest to everyone to watch “Blood Diamonds” to get a glimpse of the diamond trade industry.

But the fact of the matter is something's fishy when it comes to these “Sell Your Gold” commercials and they are almost becoming as shadowy as many pawn shops or stores. The reality is that we the American people are once again being pawns in a system of greed and corruption and at the rate everything is going, one or a few companies and people will literally own all or majority of the gold in America as well as perhaps the world. It is clear that what is happening has some sinister plot to it that neither I nor you know about but if we continue to dig and think about it, I am willing to bet that it has a lot to do with our economy today and the greed of those who have lead our economy down this path of overspending and overpricing. Thus we as the people have to think about what we are doing. I know times are tough and perhaps even life and death for many of us but for those of us who it is not life or death for in the sense that we don’t have to choose between eating today or not, being in shelter or being homeless than we need to carefully consider not selling our gold no matter what until more research is done in regards to these quote on quote gold parties and “Sell Your Gold” commercials that are airing literally every hour periodically throughout the day. So be weary as well as leery of what is taking place in America because if we don’t than we the American people could be even worse off in America than before times with the economy and the job market actually got bad.

Don’t believe the hype of gold being worthless or cash which is made from paper being worth more than gold. You have to question why anyone would be willing to give you cash for gold if gold was worthless. Why would anyone want to give you cash or paper money if it was worth more than gold? Something’s in life are too good to be true so don’t believe and the hype and question this new phase of the “Gold Standard” being worthless. Be cautious of selling your gold by all means but at the same time ask these gold buyers questions as to why they want your gold and what are they are doing with all the gold they are buying and even ask how you can get in on this new business. It is more to this issue than meets the eye so for now be skeptical until the real purpose of these “Sell Your Gold” television commercials are revealed and these gold parties are revealed as the true rip off they truly are.
