People, this is the year of Hope for many us.
Hope for a better life. Hope for new beginnings. Hope for a better future.
For many of us, hope is not just a word but it is a symbol. A symbol that we can rally around and empowers us to believe in something that is greater us.
Hope is why so many of us wake up each and every day thinking that today will be a better day than yesterday and that tomorrow will be better than today. Hope is the belief that enlightens so many of us to be optimistic than pessimistic. Hope is more than an audacity but it is a symbol of greatness.
However while so many of us believe in hope, we look for it, in all the wrong places. The hope that many of us look for should not be in each other but it should in God. Our hope should be in God to provide us, his people with the right mindset to bring about a positive change in society. The hope that we should believe in, is in God’s ability to empower us, his people to do his will in a just and righteous way.
This is the hope that we should crave. This is the hope that we should be trying to obtain. The hope that God can give us to be a better people and the hope that God delivers us, his people to do the right thing when faced with the opportunity to do so.
Our hope should never be simply in mankind but it should be in the conscious of mankind to respond to the calling of the Lord when called upon. Our hope should rest in not each other’s abilities to do good things but it should rest in the Lord’s ability to help us do good things.
For many of us, hope is a powering feeling that strengthens us, that uplifts us and guides us through tough times. However the power hope comes from God. That power that strengthens us, uplifts us, and guides through adversity comes from the Lord. It is this hope that we should believe in and it is this hope that inspires us to live each day like it is our last.
The hope that better days are ahead and that today is merely a stepping stone to better days is what many of us believe. For so many of us, we want hope but the reality is, we’re just hoping for it and not working for it. Hope requires patience. Hope requires prayer. Hope requires practice.
When we are not practicing patience and prayer than we are seemly hoping for something to happen without truly believing it will happen. Hope requires us to strengthen our patience and the only way this can happen is by us practicing to be patient in all that we do regardless of the adversity in front of us. Hope requires a strong bond with God and that bond can only be developed through dialogue which occurs through prayer. Simply just talking to the Lord is okay but when you kneel or bow before the Lord in prayer, you are giving of yourself to the might of the Lord thus you believe in the Lord’s power to make hope a reality. Practicing to prayer only makes one’s prayer strong and only strengthens the bond between the Lord and oneself.
That’s why hope requires action and that action is patience, prayer and practice. Hope without action is simply hopeless. However hope with action makes hope a reality. Hope is more just a word but it is an empowering feeling that the Lord grants us not people.
Hope is empowering, inspirational, uplifting and enlightening. Hope is more just a feeling but it is a belief that so many of us believe in. However the hope that so many of us hope for must begin with God. Hope never begins with man but begins with God. Hope begins with God’s ability to make man see God’s vision for mankind.
Hope allows each of us to do incredible things and it allows many of us to accomplish the dreams that we only dream of. Hope is a powerful feeling that encourages us all to want to see greatness but that greatness starts with believing that God will grant us that “Greatness.”
People it is fine to have hope but make sure you are channeling that hope in the right direction which is in the direction of God.
People it is okay to be hopeful but make sure you are putting action with your hope otherwise it is hopeless.
People, we all must have hope in order to make tomorrow better than today and today better than yesterday.
Hope is the beckon that inspires many of us but make sure we are hoping in the right direction and not the wrong direction.
Hope is greater than one person or one thing. Hope is God and we are the hope of God. Believe in Hope and have Hope.
HOPE
