As I watched America mourn over former President Gerald Ford and the only President from my home state of Michigan, I could only listen to the wonderful comments made about him. Many people said President Ford cared about doing the right thing and the political thing. So with that being said, many Democrats and Republicans said he was all about working together to solve problems. So will a politician emerge that has the capacity of President Ford to unite the country and put politics aside in order to do the right things for this country. For our sake, I hope that this happens soon because more politicians like President Ford are needed.
