Prince Harry Looking Forward to Proving Himself in Military


The Third in Line to British Throne Will Ship Out to Iraq in April


The British Ministry of Defense announced today that Prince Harry would be sent to Iraq in the next rotation.


Although British Prime Minister Tony Blair announced Wednesday that Britain would begin withdrawing troops from Iraq, more than 5,000 soldiers will stay.


Harry's unit is expected to ship out in April, and Harry will serve his tour of duty in the southern city of Basra, becoming the first British royal in 25 years to see military action.


Since Prince Harry enrolled at Sandhurst Military College, people have been asking: Would the Brits really send the third in line to the throne, the queen's beloved grandson to Iraq?


Harry himself always knew the answer.


"If they said, 'No, you can't go to the front line,' I wouldn't have dragged my sorry a— through Sandhurst," he said..............

It's been a long time coming but a change is surely going to come in America and the World! We must not believe the hype but we must become the hype. We are not Harriett Tubman, Marcus Garvey, MLK, Malcolm X, Booker T. Washington, Carter G. Woodson, W.E.B. DuBois, the Black Panther Party, SNCC, or any other activists but we are the fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, uncles, aunties, and relatives of those who came before us to pave the way for us to FIGHT THE POWER! We are not next Generation of leaders who will not be honored and praised until they die but that’s the fight we accept. We are not fighting the power for glory or fame but we are fighting the power for just causes that most men and women will not understand until years or decades later.


We are fighting for our sisters and brothers in Darfur, Georgia, Iraq, Iran, China and Mexico. We are speaking for those who are poor and have no food or water. We are fighting for those who are sick and dying. We are fighting for universal healthcare across the world and human rights for all people. We are fighting for rich and poor! We must FIGHT THE POWER no matter how hard and tough the road may be. We must FIGHT THE POWER for a better today and an even greater tomorrow!
