NASHVILLE - Church leaders from across West Tennessee will gather with U.S. Senate nominee Harold Ford Jr. in Memphis Friday, Oct. 6 as he hosts an interdenominational prayer breakfast featuring Grammy Award winning gospel artist Mary Mary.
From the grand ballroom of the historic Peabody Hotel, the 7:30 a.m. prayer breakfast will include civic and faith leaders.
"My faith has always been important to me and my work. This prayer breakfast is an opportunity, at a time in which prayer and action are needed around the world, for leaders to convene, seek strength and guidance and go forth with a renewed determination to heal and unite," said Ford.
"I am excited that Mary Mary would join us and bring an electrifying spirit to the morning. And, I look forward to hearing area leaders of faith inspire us to do greater works."
